Introduction
I have been playing Geometry Dash without ever quitting since 2017. Going nonstop on a single game for 7 years at this point may seem insane, but Geometry Dash is something different. Geometry Dash has the perfect gameplay system that keeps you interested forever. One element of that system is the unlimited creative potential of the level editor. Easily the most powerful of any game, the Geometry Dash level editor has led to many wonderful creations.
And I wanted in some of that action.
For all the time I've been playing Geometry Dash levels, I've also been creating my own. I wanted to learn how to create cool stuff like all the other creators in the game, and I did. I improved my craft, and created many levels in the process, all culminating in one featured level on July 23rd of this year.
There is one thing I've always wanted to do but which I never did: create a retrospective on all the levels I've ever made. That's what this is: for the first time ever, I will go through every last project, complete or dead, and show exactly what I did to become a feature-worthy creator.
With 7 years of levels, there is too much to cover in one single article. That is why I am going to split this into two parts, that way I can at least get something out before the heat death of the universe.
But without further ado, let's get to my first levels.
June 2017 - March 2018: Expunged Recent Tab Levels
I started creating levels at the end of the 2.1 release hype period, shortly before the final update for 6 years, 2.11. All of the levels from this time have since disappeared from the game's servers due to the occasional server cleanse, where old levels with few downloads get removed. I still do have the original IDs for these levels though, so you can get a rough estimate for when they released.
